Is 'using our hearts' correct?

Converting other people to our religion is done using our hearts and the feeling of wanting to bring happiness to others around us.

Is the bold part correct? If not, how should it be phrased?

Thanks.

I can fix it.

Converting other people to our religion is done

through proselytising our theo-chauvinism, with no use of our minds just thoughtlessly

using our hearts and the feeling of wanting to bring happiness to others around us.
