Suppose a shoplifter is caught shoplifting, and the house detective lets him off since it was the first time he was caught by him, should he say, "I'll give you a chance." or
"I'll give you a second chance."?

1. Are there any punctuation errors in the above text?
2. Is there any comma splice in the text?

No commas are needed.
