As everyone knows, there are two basic ways to become a veteran member.
1- Sheer quantity of posts. (With no regard to quality)
2- Direct vote. (Not a majority vote, but more of a petition where Veteran status is granted with 100 votes. Obviously this form of status achievement was implemented for those members who put so much time and quality into each and every post that they can't possibly meet the relatively ridiculous quantity requirements)
I wish to initiate a direct vote to recieve veteran status. Those in favor say "Nay," those opposed say "Aye."
Tell your friends to come and vote to... spread the word.
(While negative votes don't count, it is your right as members to voice your opinion. Feel free to do so.)
I don't think many people go around posting stuff just to up their post status. Some of us are just more talkative than others. I personally have a fairly high count, but that's because I've been here since the beginning of A2K and I feel a bond with many of my A2K friends.
