whats your favorite live album from a metal band? i dont really like many live albums from metal bands cause they always end up sounding like **** on cd. but i would have to go with Cradle of Filth's "Live Bait For The Dead"
Motothead has a good one. But my favorite is, Alcohol Fueled Brewtality Live, by Black Label Society(Zakk Wylde)
I have not heard that album. But I do enjoy Zakk's new band. I think his vocals sound like Chris Cornell! haha!
I have to agree though, live albums are not very good. A live performance is better when you are present and not on CD.
I actually can not think of a single live album I like., or own for that matter.....
Panteras 101 proof album. That album almost captures what it was like to see them live. Damn it was hard to refer to them in the past tense.
RIP Dimebag
Zakk's new band, what are you talking about Shewofl? Why have I not heard this already?
without a doubt Lamentations by Opeth is my favorite. By far the most interesting metal band there is.

awesome!!!! especially demonizer..
Opeth is a VERY talented and creative band. They will go from death metal to light acoustic jam stuff on the same album. But no matter what they do, it sounds awesome.
That's what i love about them. One second it's hard doom metal the next second its classical acoustic guitar passages with a pacifying jazz guitar over. Pure brilliance.
