Please carry these exercise books for me.
Please help me carry these exercise books.

The first sentence describes what you are asking. The second sentence implies that there are many exercise books, and that the student will carry some and the teacher will carry some.

Does the first sentence mean that the teacher wants the student to carry all the exercise books for her? If not, how should the sentence be phrased to carry that meaning?
