In the following context, who does "this" refer to? dan_verg? Harris?
Context:
"@dan_verg_: Harris defenders this isn't a rational thinker, this is a genocidal fascist maniac."

This is missing punctuation. It should read
"This isn't a rational thinker. This is a genocidal fascist maniac."
So, "this" refers to Sam Harris.
The post is addressed to "Harris defenders". It might be clearer if there was a comma.
