Should it be "Six-month pregnant" instead?

Six months pregnant Goh Chieh Ting was out for breakfast at Jurong West with her mother-in-law on 13 May last year. The pair had been about to cross the road to visit the market when Goh was hit by a lorry.

1. Should it be "Six-month pregnant" instead?
2. Should it be "were about to cross the road" instead?

Thanks.

Both locutions are correct, and do not need to be changed.

@tanguatlay,
I'd put a comma after the modifying phrase, "six months pregnant."
