Not sure of Lyrics or Song

This will probably sound like an unreasonable request but I can't stop humming this song and I don't know what it is. It's a slow/cheesy song and it's fairly old. I think it goes something like this:

oh hold on, hold on, cause I want to be here forever

or the 1st part could be go on, or walk on, and the 2nd part could be I want to be here beside you.

I know it's vague but it's driving me nuts. Please Help if you have any clue.
