I'm wondering if men have the same mood swings based on event as opposed to women, which get their's mainly from a are hormonal changes.
@visceral,
Yeah, men are emotional too.
@seac,
No we aren't! So shut up. (Max sobs quietly.)
@maxdancona,
There, there, Max. Here's you a nice piece of chocolate.
Yes, me can experience "man-o-pause" or go thru mid-life changes, depression, etc.
The behavior says it all (unless he's getting hot flashes, too. In that case, get him to a Dr. ASAP )

Men have hormones too, and to characterise women's "mood swings" as "hormonal" is a bit retrograde, to say the least.

Why? The biological differences in hormones between men and women is a scientific fact, as is the effect of hormones on mood.
Does modern political correctness really require us to change science?
I'm talking about the kind of unreconstructed dickhead who, when a woman close to him is pissed off (usually at him acting like a dick) says "It's her hormones".
@centrox,
Is every thread a man-bashing thread? There is currently this idea that masculinity is "toxic".. i suppose it is related. I hope we can stop referring insulting men or women by their genitalia.
It would be nice if you could support women without attacking men.
@visceral,
I gave up (most) mood swings after giving up drinking booze and then getting a few years of mental health therapy.
Most folks are subject to mood swings and gender and hormones are not the culprit(s).
@centrox,
men usually do something dickhead-ish to warrant it
