They will want a list of all medications. They may advise you of certain medications you should skip on the day of surgery, like blood thinners and if you have diabetes they will include that due to the fasting. If there is anesthesia involved, they will tell you need transportation both ways. Again, if anesthesia, they will also tell you not to eat or drink within 12 hours of surgery.
They will send you a bill. I have always suspected this it the real purpose of the preop visit. Maybe I'm to cynical.
