make a decision
take a decision
What is the difference between the two phrases?
Thanks.
The difference is regional: "take" is more common in British English, while "make" is more common in American English. Both, however, are correct in either region, and mean the same thing.

Thanks, centrox.
I often read in our newspaper about our politicians 'taking a decision'. I had been wondering what was the difference. Thanks for enlightening me.
