I'm in high school and I've been dating this guy for a little less than a year and we have been having some issues this past month and we've been arguing a lot recently over stupid things. I believe with time we will be fine again but I'm in Florida for winter break and last night I posted a scandalous pic in a bikini and he broke up with me and said it was the last straw and he needs to do wha best for him. He said the pic gave him a poor reflection and made me look like an attention seeking slut. He still likes me the same and cares for me, do you think with time he will come back to me? Other than the pic I haven't done anything wrong in the relationship. Do I try to talk to him or will that make things worse.
You want to stay with a guy who called you are a slut? Are you for real?

No, he likes the image he has created of you and if you don't adhere to his nonsensical ideas in the future, he will repeat his behavior.
Be grateful he ended it and delete his name and number from your files. You're young still and there are plenty of good decent men out there in the world who won't treat you like a possession.
