Why is it that sometimes when a photo won't open and you see a little rectangle with a red x instead you can right click on it then on "open picture" and it does and other times it doesn't?
Because sometimes the image doesn't load quickly enough and the red X is displayed. The image is accessible but was simply loading too slowly (this is common on graphic intensive pages being viewed on dial up).
In other situations the image is simply not accessible, the serverhosting the image might be down or the image might have been moved or deleted. In these cases you will not be able to click the puter into showing the image.
