A newly revised traffic law requires all passengers to fasten their seatbelt/s.

Should it be 'seatbelt' or 'seatbelts'?

The singular 'they'...

Ha, I was going to use that very example for using "seatbelt," but went for terseness.

The deciding words here are "each" and "all."
