You may want to look into this...
Check this out.....New Google Feature
Type your telephone number into Google's search bar (Type in
Google.com ), click the search button....MapQuest returns with a physical
location of your phone number.
People could use this feature to
locate your home address, and receive explicit directions on how to get
there from anywhere in the country.
You can remove your name off this database--
To do this: Type in your
full phone number....using dashes...like this: 555-123-4567 If your
number appears in the mapping database, an icon resembling a telephone will appear next to the entry on the results page. Click on this icon and it will take you to a page containing a description of the service,
and a link to request your number be removed from the database
wow i must not be doing this right i tried both of my number nothing came up
Wow, thanks Misti. There is a nice big page of stuff if you click on the telephone.
Maybe thats a good thing dys. I used the normal format for a phone number "123-456-7890." No quotes.
worse that that I just found my wife and 160 teachers in an excel spreadsheet.
sounds like lettertime to me!
Dys, after you type the phone number 123-456-5789, click on the telephone icon to the left of your number, then the page comes up with all your demographics.
LOL ... well, my phones are all there. However, Both Yahoo! and Mapquest have the zip code and town name wrong. The location given would be in the midst of a heavily overgrown bog of some acres dimension, several miles diagonally from the actual location, and accessible only via an unimproved road. Not even much of a spot for hunting or fishing.
I figure I'm still safe.
timber
My phone number couldn't find any documents, so I'm good so far.
Thanks Misti. This is good to know for sure ;-)
I just sent an email to the webmaster of the site where my info is listed asking for increased privacy\removal to personal info.
I don't even like those searches like the birthday - what a way to acquire info, and crosslink it.
