i have a question about "royalty free" samples

cuz im a wannabe "rapper/producer", and i have purchased some royalty free samples to use to make hip hop beats....since theyre royatly free does that mean i can use them on my independant album and not worry about getting sued?? i would appreciate the help....

I means that you don't have to pay for using them. I'm not sure whether or not you have to give credit, though.

well i payed a "one time" fee.....

You could contact the company that supplies the samples and ask them all about it.

If it's a "one time fee" I would imagine that's what it is, but play safe, ask this question in the legal forum, there are a few lawyers here.
