Why it is so?

People enjoy hearing things that confirm what they already believe. People fear those truths that expose them as ignorant.

That doesn't make sense, it should either be, Why do people fear the truth? or What do people fear from the truth?

Truth is your English is lousy, focus on clear communication instead of pretentious self aggrandising bullshit. You'll be happier in the long run.
