Oh man, I am so excited! I just picked up the guitar and started playing, and this beautiful song just came flying out of me! I can't think of a good name though. What do you think I should call it? Here are the lyrics...

Sweet baaaaaby...oh yeah
sweeeeeet baaaaaaby...oh yeah
I love you sweeeeeet baaaaaby
Sweeeeeet baaaaaaby...oh yeah

Sweet baaaaaby...oh my
sweeeeeet baaaaaaby...oh my
I love you sweeeeeet baaaaaby
Sweeeeeet baaaaaaby...oh my

instrumental break

bridge

Sweet baaaaaby...woah woah
sweeeeeet baaaaaaby...woah woah
I love you sweeeeeet baaaaaby
Sweeeeeet baaaaaaby...woa woah

(repeat to fade)

Thanks edgar, I know it's a tough one. Just think about it and get back to me when you can. I appreciate it.

Thanks Littlek, great suggestion. I'm going to write that on my song name ideas notepad.

Oh man, this could be my big hit!

I'm writing those suggestions down, Bear! Thanks. I am leaning towards "Lick My Love Pump"...

You guys should hear the beautiful melody I came up with. It goes a little like this...

Da DAda...Da da...Da DAda...da Da

Haunting.

I would throw in a La LALA lalala during the chorus...and then let it resolve out on a diminished woo woo....but that's just me....

Oh, incidentally, that "woah" part was really a stroke of luck. I banged my knee on the coffee table as I was singing and it just came out like that.

I don't know if I can change it, Bear. It came through me as if through some higher power. I turned on the tape recorder, and while I was singing it, I blacked out completely. All I remember is a feeling of purity and light that enveloped my entire being. When I came back to the here and now, this song was on the tape. I've got to respect my muse, man.

You know, when I came back to myself, I did feel a strange anal seepage back there...

But it's worth it. It's all about the music, man.

In fact...

It's a good thing you have a coffee table, Kicky. Really. Coffee tables are neat and inspirational.

So true, Dag.

One day this coffee table might end up in the rock'n'roll hall of fame.

I like the sound of The Incredible Adventures of Dr. Tardarian and His Amazing Flying Machine. Believe me, on acid, it would all make sense.

That is indeed a nice song, kicky, but I fear once again I have the upper hand on you. You see, a couple of days ago I stopped in at the "Never Ending Rap Battle" thread and composed a song of my own. The regulars on that thread were so impressed they ignored my song. I guess they thought the competition was too stiff, so they went about with their amateurish efforts. In my heart, I know my song will win the competition...

Gangsta Gus lets loose

That was a fine rap indeed gus. Strangely enough, my rap sonnet offering was also ignored, but it made me proud:

<a message from an ex-gangsta that got out of the hood and got an education. Word...>

I's rap in iambic pentameter,
wannabes can't even write no sonnet,
Con it, shoot it, thas all you playas know,
school is whack, cuz you got bling bling to show.
Don't wanna end up in no dead-end job,
you sell crack to kids like corn on the cob.
Gangsta lean, thug life, lookin' for street cred,
no dead-end life for you, just end up dead,
shot by some green, lowlife, uniformed cop,
hold up, stop, maybe by a tight brutha
you thought you knew, you grew up togetha
whateva, thought it was foreva, but
you was wrong, things don't flow in da ghetto,
caught in da life, in da crosshairs of strife.
