I think Randy california was their lead guitarist but I can't remember their best known song...help me out Swimpy

It was ex-Spirits Jay Fergusen & Mark Andes. The song I remember best was "Shake That Fat." I have a sweet spot for this band because it was the first real concert I ever saw. It was 1972 at the Coliseum in Madison, Wisconsin.

I went to school with a guy who worked at the Salesian Boys Club in SF
when the BBs used to practice ther and occasionly make an appearance
in a variety show. We used to annoy Sal with a take-off on "Try Just a
Little" about the bands failure to crack the top 10 with that song.

And btw Spencer Dryden just died. He really had it rough. Died of Cancer while awaiting hop replacement surgery for both hips and heart surgery. He was 66.
