Littlek... the stylist wants you to look good and wants you to be happy. Let him.

Call him up at what seems like an unbusy time (first thing in the morning?) and tell him your hair is not as fabulous as you know he could make it. Ask if there is a time when you could come in and have him trim it a little more. I'm sure he'd be happy to do it... and especially happy that you're not broadcasting your disappointment to everyone in his salon. Big ready to pay for a trim, but I'll bet he says it's free.

I don't like that's puffier at the bottom than at the top. Maybe he could thin the bottom 1/3?

Well, except for not giving what you asked for, I would say he did real well. Honest. Don't change hairdressers.

I think you just need to use a round brush while
blow drying so the tips will go either inside or outwards.
You could do a lot with this haircut, it just takes
a bit of your time.

If I may: you have a short forehead, and such a pretty face - without bangs, your face would come out more.

Jane, I need the bangs to hide my short forehead. Usually I try to qsweep them a little to one side. I don't blow dry my hair, but maybe I should start - too get through the 'eh' stage of this one. My hair naturally flips in and out, which I like, with the right cut.

Littlek, he cut your hair to the tune of the "in" style....chopped short at the bottom, kind of sticking out. Looks good.

However, I'd still go for the punk rock look.

Littlek, I think you look great, but is this the kind of look you meant... spikey and a little wilder? This looks like a slightly wilder version of your haircut... to me... and very stylish.
