Lace bras and Nipples

ug.
Ok, so I buy a really nice bra, almost 70% of the material is lace. More then I should have spent on a bra though!!! grr! But I like it..

and then.. well.. My pointer sisters made thier way through the lace.
Nuff said?

So how can I stop this? I have had bras tear before because of this ..um... pointer sister problem..
so how can i keep them under control with out taping them ? ANything I can do to the bra?
Or is this just a curse that having nipples brings on?

Do a Google image search on "Farrah" and look at the first pic that comes up. This might "point out" the problem.
