When somebody is using t. paper to wipe up, the cleaning is incomplete. A feces layer, full of dangerous microbes remains, which soon IS DRIED out and VAPORIZED, so these microbes overwhelm the near organs, especially in women and soon disperse to all house, and of course to our food.
The same and worse it applies to hospitals, where the often lethal in-hospital infections are not uncommon. It is then imperative for Health Services and medical staff to give a quick and clear answer to the above question. It is easy I think, for a Health Institute, in a laboratory to count the microbes number in a place, room or house, when the toilet paper is used, and when a good, 100% effective bidet.
This answer will enable us to face microbes more effectively at their SOURCE. Otherwise they could be blamed for CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCEā€ .

I think you have "germ phobia", or some kind of OCD, or both. I know about this, because, sadly, my mother had these. Your fear of comparatively harmless traces of material after wiping will cause you and those around much more harm than the "microbes" will.

@zisis,
You have no idea what criminal negligence actually means.

@zisis,
Is this an essay or class homework paragraph needed for a class? It sounds like it.

Anyway, it's not the TP that has anything to do with this. If anything, it may be improper use/ the way people use it that might contribute to UTIs.

@zisis,
Just use one side and all will be well.

I better add that it doesn't matter which side you use - just don't use the other side.

Where I live the water/sewerage company is having a campaign to get people to stop using "wet wipes". They don't get your ass any cleaner, can irritate it, can spread germs, and clog up sewers. They wash up on beaches and turtles eat them because they think they are jellyfish. When I was a kid the paper at school was a hard kind that was "medicated". Each sheet had "NOW WASH YOUR HANDS" printed on it. The brand was "Izal". This didn't actually do much against "ass germs". The company also made a disinfectant, mainly pine oil and carbolic, which had the same smell.
