It's fall here, and my garden looks blah..I'm near ocean so salt air is a factor and no rain will be felt here for a few more months...any suggestions? Garden is mainly draught resistant.

At least it won't catch cold from the sea breeze.

I'm usually full on fertiliser and water, and my advice on this occasion is no different. Grab your sombrero, fertilise the plants and regularly water the garden at least once a week, or get two more Mexicans. The local nursery will stock the salt resistant plants to cover any bare areas.

@visceral,
Okay, I had to check your profile to be sure you meant Fahrenheit and not Celsius. Try this: http://landdesignpublishing.com/docs/LPCG%20Sections%201-3.pdf
