People talk out of their asses with no particular foundation for their opinion all the time in A2K. Why wouldn't they be able to answer this?

I think it might be too easy to underestimate him, in terms of potential for dangerousness. I wouldn't put it past him to instigate war just to deflect attention from all his failure and corruption.
