This is a new phenomena since I had no trouble three weeks ago. When I go to open an article in the magazine it appears for a split second and then is replaced by page long ribbons of color with titles like Facebook, Twitter etc. at the top of the columns. This occurs when I try to read articles in Popular Science as well but not in Popular Mechanics. What is going on?

@Pitter,

which device are you using to access the site, and have you tried a different device?

@Pitter,
Can you screencapture this occurrence and post it here?

@tsarstepan,
Here it is. The print article appeared for one second then was replaced by these colored columns.

@Pitter,
I'm going to guess that you're running a particularly old and out of date Safari browser whereas the social network links embedded on these pages are glitching graphically.

When was the last time you updated your browser? How old is your Mac? Maybe your computer doesn't have the hardware requirements for the latest version of the browser?

@tsarstepan,
Ok I will look into that. My mac is about a year old. However this glitch just started recently.

@Pitter,
I tried updating my safari browser but it is evidently up to date as no updates were available.
