go to the equifax security site of the FTC (itll end with gov.). Read up what you need and then go onto the equifax 2017 site and hit the "CHECK TO SEE IF YOURE AFFECTED BUTTON"

Turns out, I am not but my wife is so we are setting up a credit freeze on her.

DO NOT waive your rights to sue these dbags.

Actually, that site works extremely poorly. You can (or at least that was the case for a while) put in random numbers and names.

Better - put credit freezes on your accounts on:
Equifax
Experian
TransUnion
Innovis (not as big as the others but it's easy and free)
