So here we go. 6 months ago I went to Thailand on a stag doo. I ended up really drunk and having sex with a ladyboy from what I remember it was just masturbation and her being denied access to my arse. 6 days later I had a fever and was told o had a viral infection which o disregarded as a common one. I then had sex with my fiancee and she developed a purpuric rash shortly afterwards.. I googled this and it said it's a sign of viral Infection. I managed to stay calm bit did worry. Then on came the red rash fever and headaches plus nausea. She had this for a week to ten days I had a test them at 4 weeks and was clear and thought it was over. Them I got a rash and swollen nodes on .my pits. Panic again had us both tested me at 8 weeks her at 7.2 weeks. Were told were fine and to enjoy outlr lives but it continued my fiancee got a reoccurrence of sciatica which wouldn't cease and I gained weight and both of our oral health as noticeably declined. I also have a lot of twitching and have noticed my stool has blood on ot. I I decided I can't do anything until diagnosed so I holidayed in Greece as planned and on return to UK got tested at 17 weeks post exposure to receive a negative results again although perplexing symptoms. I have asked many doctors and experts on forums who advise me to seek mental help not physical any ideas or opinions?

@chrissy19882,
You weren't 'fine' with rashes, headaches, and nausea, particularly because you could pass it to your fiancée.

Get somebody who knows what infections look like to test you. If you had other sexual contact (by hand it's highly, highly, highly unlikely, but a BJ is a different story altogether) with this person or anyone else, then it could even be syphilis, etc. And your memory might be faulty when it comes to this sexual encounter.

I would ask for a referral to an endocrinologist as they specialize in glands. You and your fiancée (I hope you told her the truth about why she was sick) both had swollen glands and that's not a meaningless symptom.

Yes I told her I think it's hiv but she thinks I'm being ridicilous. I never had headaches and nausea just my fiancee but she put it down to her period she never complained of swollen glands either just me but thanks for your honest reply and advice

@chrissy19882,
No idea; I'm not a doctor. But if my doctor had dismissed symptoms like that as 'nothing', I would be in the market for another doctor.

@jespah,
I'm not a doc but I worked in medicine for a lot of years. I agree with Jespah, find doctor who pays attention.

I have just been tested at 6 months with fourth generation test and had blood taken for general health check and told all is fine. Still not convinced but it's a bit reassuring maybe it was some wierd viral infection that isn't hiv. I don't know either as I'm not a doc thanks for replies.
