Does anybody know how to fix this mess?
Hi Standup, it looks like your Message Header is set to Advanced or Full.
Here's how to check:
Click on Options (very small, next to Help, upper right of screen)
Click on Mail (from left column)
Click on Mail Display Settings
One of the items is Message Headers - I keep mine on Basic
Thanks, it was on advanced, so I took it down to basic but it still doesn't diplay anything. Now all that comes up is what the forward is called, and who sent it....rather weird!
Oh, so it's not showing the actual contents of the e-mail? I didn't realize that part. That could be in setting too - I'll look.
You might try changing the setting for Display Internet Content and see if that makes a difference.
I didn't see anything else that would explain it.
Hotmail Attachment Received message3.txt(1bytes)(100B)
My cousin is having an 80th Birthday in March. She sends me email from Hotmail with attachments all the time, and all I get is "message3txt(1bytes)(100B)" in the attachment line. No content regarding the attachment.
My email ISP is sbcglobal.net (DSL) and her Internet Provider is her local Cable Company in Deer Park, New York.
Any assistance would be most appreciated. Thank you! Stuart
