A friend took his son to Tivoli not long ago. I figure I would like Denmark, but haven't been there. The friend, Izzythepush, has sent me some postcards from there - I happen to be a postcard lover, which he knows.. Some time ago I framed some quite old ones (virtually all with wonderful penmanship). I think of them as treasures.

Thrill - the envelope said it was from Royal Mail. That was a first, far as I remember, a saver.

I won't open the envelope until Izzy has done his a2k penance, since I want to share my seeing the postcards with him at the same time. I know they are blank, just postcards - not everyone wants to spend vacation writing burble while busy. I do hope to get to jabber a little more about their trip.

I so miss Saab. She was wonderful at describing scenes and wise about what she saw.

@ossobucotemp,
Copenhagen is really lovely, the people are very friendly and their English is very good. If I'm being honest I had more problems being understood in Texas.

The architecture is similar to Amsterdam's but with a little more imagination.
