Microphone close to silent

Hello, laptop Lenovo ThinkPad T430 runs on Windows 10 Pro,
audio driver: "Realtek High Definition Audio Driver",
headphones with Mic: Lenovo Earphone P165, Apple Earbuds

I've checked Windows settings and changed Skype sound settings to max but the microphone is close to silent.
Moreover, button for internal microphone does not lit after pressing.

[+3] - jespah - 08/23/2017Sounds like a broken or loose wire. If you can swap out for another set of earbuds, try that. Apple earbuds can get bent and twisted and that will break the very thin wires in them.
