So i met a guy about a week days ago, i was working and he asked for my number. He was really sweet so i gave it to him. We were texting since then and we were also getting along pretty well i guess. But now he isn't responding for almost 2 days. Eventhough we barely know each other i really like him and i'm just waiting for him to ask me out. Normally i wouldnt have any problem asking him myself but i feel like i'm the one who always texts first and i don't want to annoy him if he's maybe not interested. So now i wonder if i should text him and maybe ask him out or if i should just wait ? What do you guys think ?
Instead of trying to have some sort of relationship via text, why don't you ask him out for lunch, coffee, etc? If you stick with texts it'll never go anywhere and one of you will eventually get bored.
If you ask him out and he says no, you're not going out.
If you don't ask him out, you're not going out.
Phone him (not text) and ask him to join you for a coffee or a visit to a park or something really casual.

That isn't any sort of guarantee or proof that he isn't planning on cheating on any possible existing significant other (if that person does in fact exist).

Than? ((shrug)) It's best to find that out now than live in doubt and confusion for too long.
You might find out that he too is shy and hesitant to act on any similar feelings towards you.
