When I google my phone #, it doesn't have my name... it is listed as the person that had the number before ( and I still get all their sales calls)

This one's interesting too:

Story behind that one. Someone took that host name, I dont know, ten years ago. Planning to do something with it, never did. Just for the heck of it he put that email link in there for the time being.

His story was recounted somewhere recently. He's been getting emails, fairly large number of emails, from all kinds of people. People who tell their life story, who've just gone through horrible things. People venting about work. It struck him that, going on the kinds of emails and people sending them, it was mostly non-regular users of the Internet who'd clicked. It was like he opened a door that visitors didnt know they wanted to use until they saw it. Just tired of it all.

Went on for years. Then eventually (last year?) he published a book with excerpts from the mails he got.

shewolfnm- Want to get rid of the Google listings of your name and phone number? Go to:

I had done it some time ago, and after I read your thread, I tried to google my address, and I got zip, nada, nothing! Very Happy
