I am trying to find which specimens of T-Rex have been found with their arms attached to the shoulders. My 10-year old is crazy about dinosaurs, wanting to go to digs and everything. He is very interested in knowing factual information on dinosaurs, ect. Thank you so much.
@centrox,
I cannot find any sources if this is a true specimen. Where can I find out more? Looks very small/young as well.
@lucasmark,
The T-Rex called "Sue" is one of the most complete ever discovered. It comes up easily on Google.
@rosborne979,
The specimen Sue was 90% found intact, from bone to bone, but records show that her arms were not in the 90%. Weird that this is not common knowledge.

I know. I lie awake at nights wondering about this.
@lucasmark,
There is a Dirty Jobs episode about a fossil dig, season six I think. Have your child watch it and he/she may find the whole idea much less appealing. Or he/she may get totally sold on the idea, never know.

The arms may be fragile and more easily dislodged during decomposition. Are you implying that there is something interesting about the loss of arms in the fossils discovered, or are you just curious? Does Google turn up anything on this?

That looks like a photoshopped image.
