I woke up with this song fragment in my head today.....
When I'm feeling blue all I want to do is <blah blah blah blah blah blah> then I'm not so blue
and later.....
<something something something> listen to your heart beat
and maybe something like....
break your heart in two, dear
Yes, I've googled it and I still can't find it.
Its a kind of acoustic thing, maybe just guitar or piano.
Please help!
Hey, boomer. When you say acoustic, do you mean unplugged? Do you know the vocalist? A lot of songs out there with broken hearts and blue. <smile>
an aside for you. Did you get my PM about Morganwood?
Sounds like "Groovy Kind Of Love"
Maybe by Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders.
Thats it! Thank you, panzade. It was the Phil Collins version I had stuck in my head.
I kept thinking... Elvis Costello?..... Paul McCartney?.... Joe Jackson?..... Some guy singing all by himself?.....
Maybe now the song will go away or at least no longer be a fragment.
Letty, I did get your message about Morganwood. Thank you for letting me know. I hadn't seen him around here for a while and assumed he was off on a mowing adventure or some other worthwile pursuit.
Are you in touch with him outside of A2K?
Panz is good at locating stuff, or remembering tunes. Sorry, boomer, I never heard of that song.
Yes, I have Morganwood's e-mail from waaaayyyyyy back. Should you like, I can send it to you via PM. He and his wife are working rather hard at clearing land, etc.
I don't want to intrude on him. But the next time you write him ask him if he doesn't mind if I do too. If he okays it, send the address to me!
Does he visit this site anymore?
You're just crazy, woman! Crazy, I tell you!
My Gawd. There's that emu. Hey heeven!
Well, boomer. I will, but often it's a long time between messages.
Hiya Heeven!
No hurry, Letty. Perhaps I'll dig up one of his old threads and see if he responds!

Who was that little fellow, Heeven?
A little moon pie can scrumptious!
YAY!
