For best documentary, I am hoping for the superb Italian film Fire at Sea by Gianfranco Rosi, about refugees – but an award for the brilliant 13th by Ava DuVernay would get a headbanging speech from the director.
"Headbanging" is an expression along the lines of "rocking," meaning "great," "excellent." Headbanging is when aficionados of Heavy Metal Rock music rock their heads up and down to the fast rhythm of the music.
