Latin translation- "strum-ability"

Mostly experience.

psallo, psallere 'to play on a stringed instrument, especially the cithara.' [my dictionary definition]
My therapist presented psallere to me. He gave a definition that included 'to pluck' [as in stringed instrument, not as in chicken.] He found this on internet, so i am somewhat doubtful.
However, in my dictionary below psallo, psallere, is the word psalterium, 'a stringed instrument, the psaltery.' If one plays a psaltery by plucking the strings, then psallere could mean "to pluck a gut string'.

To double check, could psallere be a suitable word for 'to pluck a tendon with one's thumb'?

my therapist settled on psallabilitas (for pluckability). I did tell him it is a made up word (but so is "pluckability"). I found he was really looking for a term for when a tendon could be plucked, vs strummed.

I don't know his intent, except wanting a cool sounding name for when a muscle was in tension and in need of therapy.

I am finding that Latin is much like other things i have tried to learn.
the more i learn, the more there is to it.
