God has infinite wisdom and he has a plan. For those who succeeded in life but not in the name of Him will not receive salvation. For the Word of God has it that Jesus is the only way, the truth and the life. After all, we are all temporary. That is what I believe in. We are created to know him, to lean on him and to serve his purpose. It is not possible for finite humans to understand all his plans. And God gave us the freedom of choice. So choose.
It is evil to force a being to chose or be punished for eternity for chosing "wrong". It does not give that being any chance at understanding. So it's not a just choice.
Its clear to me that this idea is created to babysit adults to behave in a way or else face a threat of violence for not.
The theology was an attempt to get people to play nice with each other. Those who step out of line need to be put back in line but if that person says why should I follow your rules? You are just a person too, so what makes your rules special?
The ancients understood this dilemma so they cleverly said it is not a man's rule it is a god's rule. This can't be challenged as easy because whom do you challenge? This is why it's effective on most people.
I can challenge it on its inconsistency and lack of including things I think are important which it has left out.
If I am to be "punished" for not believing then so be it. But this system is unjust and evil for doing so. If there is a god it would clearly know what I personally require that would convince me to be a believer but so far it has withheld this. Why?
I don't think there is any after life what so ever. The universe is not trying to be just. Evil people get a way with evil and sometimes good people are never rewarded. It's just life of finite possibilities. That's it.
