 I just had one of my very best friends give me a very old, mint condition, Takamine G240 Acoustic guitar for free. He said it was to replace the Sears jumbo western falling apart one, I had gave him. The next day, on Saturday, I was running cassettes (in order A-Z). I hate sports. I happened to put in the Brady Bunch "It's A Sunshine Day". The next to last song is "We'll Always Be Friends". I thought that would be the perfect song to sing for my friend next chance I get to see him. Only problem is?? I can't understand the words to the second verse. I have Googled like crazy, but can't find anything. Anyone know where I can find the words to the song. If I could find the chords, tabs or sheet music? That would be better, but with just the words, I'll make the tune. Thanks for the help. And before anyone thinks I'm to wierd having "Brady Bunch", I collect Jimi Hendrix, Santana & Rush. Thanks again. Twisted Evil

Welcome to a2k, Thanotos.

I tried googling and had no luck either. Do you want to try posting the parts of the verse that you have and what the rest sounds like, and we can help to figure it out?

Laughing I put the tape in a better boom box, cranked it up very loud & put my ear right by the speaker. May not hear right for a few days, but I think I go the words right. I will print them off on my step-father's printer (I'm out of ink) & then sing along with the song until I can do it without the tape. Then I'll set down with my guitar to work out the music. If you want me to?? I will post the before & after of the song. Thanks for trying. Hard work & stubborness, wins out every time. "
Quote:
We'll Always Be Friends" [J. Mills, D. Jannsen]
All: I can always run to you - And say what's on my mind - And if I ever go away - You know I'll be back sometime

*chorus* You and me, we'll always be friends - We'll always be friends - Yeah, we'll always be friends(repeat)

All: And sometimes when I just can't sleep - I call you on the phone - You never asked me where I've been - It doesn't matter what I've done

*chorus* -

Girls: I saw you in someone today - You looked happy like you should be - And if you ever need a friend - You can count on me -

*chorus out*

Here's the tune:
