Is hook up catching feelings

I’ve been hooking up with a younger guy ( I’m early 30s) for several months now.
The sex is amazing, we have fun and chat about all sorts.
We only ever meet for sex, no dates or texting inbetween.
The last 2 hook up he’s been different. He claims my friend told him I have feelings for him which I denied as I don’t.
He’s keeps staring at me then when I caught him he said he likes looking at me. He cuddles me, strokes my hair and face, kissed my forehea. Something we’ve not done before. He told me he is not sleeping with anyone else as he’s looking for a relationship so I should be warned he may fall in love with me.
Is he catching feelings ??
