Basically, I'm always thirsty but I actually DESPISE the taste of water. I have tried adding lemon and other fruits but it actually makes the taste worse.

Any ideas on what do drink other than water?

I do drink diet soda but I can't keep drinking it as my mother is concerned.

Thanks in advance x.

Try various teas. You can get them either in ready to brew bags or in loose leaf form. Refrigerate after brewing and then pour into your travel bottle. You can decide on the amount of sweetener to be added...or not added. Teas come in zillioins of flavors and many are caffeine-free.

@demilovato,
Are you drinking tap water? do you know if the water in your area is hard or soft? is it very chlorinated?

Seconding this. Plus really cheap bottled water tends to be bottled and filtered crappy tap water from a nearby community source.

There are several companies which manufacture and distribute caffeine-free green tea.

Also consider the idea of boiling up some chopped sage leaves and and adding a little lemon juice. Other herb leaves can also be used to create a tea to your liking, try different things, find what works best for you.
