In this type of school math exercise, the required 'answer' is the surd that Tryagain provided. A surd is an irrational number, a number which cannot be expressed as a fraction or as a terminating or recurring decimal. The square root of 6 is irrational.

Wouldn't a computer do the operation inside the parenthesis first, then square it?
