The tea came vacuum packed with this thing in the bag.
At first i thought it may have been there so the tea lasted longer since it didn't seem to have an easy way to open it.
But then i cut it open with some scissors and it didn't smell like chemicals or anything it actually smelled pretty nice, so now im thinking it might be something you're supposed to add in or something.
Anyone have any idea what it might be? Thanks

@demilovato,
Picture? Description? Anything on the side of the box that would tell you anything?

Note: please don't put stuff in your mouth when you don't know if it's edible.

please make sure not to put it back in with the tea until you've confirmed that it is not a dessicant

Having a hard time visualizing this. You opened up a box of tea, took a teabag out, and then opened up the tea bag to see that something was inside the tea bag?

Why would you open up the tea bag in the first place?

@demilovato,
You'd better not add them to the tea soup if there is not any lable on the package.
