The Attorney General has oversight over the FBI. That does not negate the fact that the director of the FBI has control over the FBI's investigations.

No it doesn't. Nor does it negate the fact that it is the Attorney General, not the Director of the FBI, who decides what to do with the results of FBI investigations.

Seems the "Acting" Director let Trump know that Comey was ell respwcted among the staffers and his firing will not stop anything re: ongoing investigations .

News today stated that Trump is befuddled about all this.
(Hes still going around basking in the glow that hes even the president)
Whata maroon

That's good news, so far. We'll see what Comey's replacement will have to say about the investigation.

Again, everybody who isn't totally brain dead and retarded knows by now that the claims of DT being some sort of a Russian agent are total bullshit, that's the thing DT had to wait for before shitcanning the dufe.

The investigation isn't only about Trump.

@InfraBlue,
Trump aint got no worries. He can give a multi-million dollar bribe to any and every FBI agent who digs up some evidence against his ass, and never even miss the money, eh? I'm told that word is already out among the rank and file FBI: Take your evidence to Trump, not the Director.

@InfraBlue,
To be a little more specific, McCabe said (among other assurances):

Quote:
As you know, Senator, the work of the men and women of the FBI continues despite any changes in circumstance, any decisions. So there has been no effort to impede our investigation today. Quite simply put sir, you cannot stop the men and women of the FBI from doing the right thing, protecting the American people, and upholding the Constitution.

And here I thought Trump fired his republican "ally," Comey, who assured him he wasn't being investigated, in order to end the investigation. It must be that he prefers to have a rabid democrat, McCabe, whose wife has taken over a million dollars from Democratic donors, in charge of the investigation, eh?

It makes sense. As a greedy democrat, McCabe is probably not only more readily bribed, but he'll likely have a cheaper price tag on his ass, too. It's probably a done deal, as we speak. McCabe has probably been under-bidding Comey, behind his back, all along.

Some might think I'm being speculative, but we KNOW, for a stone-cold fact, that immense corruption MUST be involved in anything and everything Trump does. Given that, I'm just deducing the most likely conclusions, ya know?

@InfraBlue,
I understand Trump is considering ambassador Kislyak for head of the FBI.
