inexpensive website for volunteer group

My volunteer group needs help finding a free or low cost way to make a website that would allow us to have a membership section, and would allow each member to post what they need help with, and then have each of us receive an email requesting to help.

Possibly Wordpress. It would not be an elegant solution, but you can get a free site via Wordpress itself if you host it there. You might create a page for a Membership section and ask your members to post their requests as replies to the page.

And your team would have to agree to follow the RSS feed (or just follow the blog itself). Definitely an inelegant solution, but cheap and easy to set up.
