Help Me Name My New Project

Reply Sun 7 Nov, 2004 04:26 pm
The first name I thought of was rejected out of hand by everyone.....so....

My guitar player and I are forming an acoustic duo to perform out during the week for money...this is actually pretty lucrative.....we are both old school metal guys at heart and this project will be a little more rock, not heavier but acoustic versions of rock songs, albeit songs people will know
with of course of few mandatory Eagles Jimmy Buffett crap thrown in....

I really like the name Unplugged Exiles. What do you think of that name and how about helping me out with some suggestions?

Oh! Oh! I have a great idea!

Is your friend fat, bear? Because if he is, by using a clever play on words, you can call your band....

Haurel and Lardy

Hahahahahahahahahhahahahah. Whew.

and as long as we still look good, sound good, and can make 50K(APIECE) a year part time doing it, hell, why would we quit?

I thank you all for your suggestions...we gave serious consideration to farmermans wonderful acronym...but in the end it was too long. We found Pdiddies kind suggestion close to the truth but didn't think it would sell to the corporates.....so in the end we settled on my second choice, Unplugged Exiles. I know a lot of you have been worrying over this. We will have a website up soon as a sub domain of my bands website where you can look at the pics, read the bios, see the songlist and listen to some audio samples....the usual exciting stuff.....now it's on to the clubs and gimme more money please.

The Stones are touring again this summer and Mick Jagger is 61, Keith Richards is held together by congealed heroin, so I should have a few more years in me. I'm in good shape.

with all due respect "Unplugged Exiles" is to long, too intellectual for your target group, and somewhat unsuitably demeaning; how about something catchier, easier, and meaningles, but intriguing, like "Bi-Po+1" or better still "Bi+/-PO"

bogowo, if we called it Poop it would probably be to intellectual for our target group but Bi-Po is a name which only has meaning in the cyber world of A2K.....out here in the real world I'm just Steve, semi retired rock God, loved by men and desired by women.....with an equal amount of respect to you....let's don't overthink it.... Laughing
