Strange Song with Woman Reading Cities and Numbers

Hi;
I am trying to find the title of a song with a woman reading numbers and cities (think she's English) in the background of the song. It came out in the 80s, I believe. Any ideas?

You'll need to provide a LOT more than that. Which cities, which numbers to start? Did she sound like a police dispatcher, or something else? What type of music was it - rock, rap, jazz, country, reggae, something else? Was the sound more guitars, piano, horns, violin, something else?

Thanks for the quick reply. It was more like a police dispatcher. She was simply reading numbers. It was background while the song progressed. The cities were English as was her accent. She read, the city and a number and then on to the next city. Kinda spooky music, but definitely rock.

Hi jespah, thanks ... however, the background was a woman's voice much softer and soothing. The music was more early to mid 80's rock.

Huh. I'm kinda stumped. Do you have any idea about the context, that sort of thing? Because in the song I posted, the context is that the woman is a police dispatcher. But why else would there be a recording of a woman saying city names and numbers in a song?

yes, it was such a strange song w/ the woman reading random numbers that is why i was checking to see if anyone could help. it is very hard to do a google search w/ such little info. but thanks for trying ... maybe someone else may be able to figure it out.
