This is for my Dad, who is still on dialup. He needs a free spamcatcher-type email, so I suggested Yahoo (or Hotmail or Gmail). The thing is, he doesn't want his phone lines to be tied up for too long. And, it would be better if the free email account and his regular account (which is with Juno) could be more or less seamlessly integrated.
I know Yahoo used to allow email forwarding, straight to a non-Yahoo account. Is that still allowed? If he needs to pay for that, he might (depends on how much it would cost). Or, if there's a better freebie spamcatcher-type email program that can do this, that's fine, too. No one's committed to using Yahoo by any means.
I hope this is clear. Let me know if it isn't, and thanks in advance.
I have always been able to forward mail received from anywhere, to any other address using yahoo email. If this answers the question, it guess it was clear.
Uh, want me to forward something to you, as a test?
She means automatic email forwarding, and no I don't think Yahoo does that.
But contact me jes, I can set something simple up for your dad.
'K, will send you a note, thanks, CdK.
