Currently, I have quit my usage of stimulants (aside from caffeine of course). However, for about 4/7 days per week for about two months I was up for, at some point in X week, each week, I was up for about 4 days straight because I loved to abuse adderall. I am 20 years old and I am in college for exercise physiology and I have maintained about 3 hours in the gym every day for the past 2 years (aside from the 2 months of idiocy/fun during which i didn't go to the gym at all). Now, after the 2 months, I have a lot of stretch marks on my chest, stomach, back, and sides, none of which were there prior to my 2 month adderall binge. I went from 41% muscle composition to 38% muscle composition as well as 11% body fat to 14%. I am currently 185 lbs. Being that adderall is a vasoconstrictor, like many prescription stimulants, my guess is that my epidermis, consisting of blood vessels that vasoconstricting drugs would tighten, was constricted heavily as my body still moved, causing stretch marks to occur more easily. I cannot find anything online about this, so I am inquiring here. Might anyone be able to confirm/deny/elaborate on the matter? I'm really curious of what this might be caused by so that I can try to fix this asap. Thanks!
@qdobrien,
Maybe stop abusing adderal and go to your doctor and see if he or she can help you.
@qdobrien,
Talk to your doctor.
Given that you are in school to study exercise physiology you might also want to speak to someone on faculty about what you've been doing.
