please can you help with an evolving notice in the work kitchen warning people not to take stuff from the fridge. the principal correction has bothered me for some time but i can't work out why. is there something grammatically incorrect or merely style?
'DO NOT TAKE OTHER PEOPLES FOOD FROM THE FRIDGES. IT'S CALLED THEFT'
an apostrophe has been recently added to end of 'peoples', but my bugbear is the crossing out of 'called', becoming:
'DO NOT TAKE OTHER PEOPLES FOOD FROM THE FRIDGES. IT'S THEFT'
i don't know why this bothers me
thanks

@mhjj,
Yeah the grammar isn't the best (have fun with mine) but to be honest I would be more bothered by the fact that you have a co-worker that steals food from their co-workers than someone who has not mastered their grammar.
