Before someone comes here and lambastes you, I would say, yes, it's a bad sign.
He got your letter and it did not sway him. Right now you just look desperate and like you're pestering him.
You had frequent fights by your own admission. This is not some awesome relationship. And it's only been a couple of months.
You need to let it go. It's over.
Period, done and dusted, don't even bother buying a stake for its heart because it will never rise from the grave, over.
Find other things to do with your time. Reconnect with your friends who you may have put on the back burner for this relationship.
Fill your life with good, interesting, fun, and pleasant things and pretty soon you'll wonder why you ever bothered with this guy.
